Get y’all popcorn ready because its about to go down!
The highly anticipated new season of Basketball Wives is set to hit our small screens on August 19 on VH1. This season is one to watch with many cat fights brewing and friendships being tested.
We are introduced to the newest cast member, Stephon Marbury’s wife, Tasha Marbury. In the trailer, Tasha starts beef with the girls because they left her party and even gets snappy with HBIC Shaunie O’neal. She also makes an insensitive joke saying that Evelyn should wear a helmet the next time she plans on dating, in light of her domestic violence situation and even gets into a little fight with Suzie.
The most controversial “wife” Evelyn Lozada deals with the break up from her ex-husband, former NFL star Chad Johnson. She finds herself contemplating giving him another chance. Her friends Tami and Shaunie are split on the decision whether or not she should take him back.
Tami is all for it:
“If you love Chad and he loves you, you guys should step out on faith.”
Shaunie questions Tami:
“Would you give your daughters that same advice?
