The Walking Dead is a super popular television series successfully heading into its fourth season, but it looks like the show may be losing one of its major characters.

David Morrissey, who plays the villainous governor in the series, is all set to star in the pilot Line of Sight as Lewis Bernt, “a National Transportation Safety Board investigator who survives a mysterious plane crash, bringing him on an emotionally disorienting quest to discover the accident’s cause,” according to Deadline.

In a statement to the same site, the AMC network commented:

“We are huge fans of David Morrissey and are glad he’ll be doing double duty for AMC viewers through his work on ‘The Walking Dead’ and our pilot for ‘Line Of Sight,’ both of which are produced in Atlanta,”

As Line of Sight is only in its pilot season, doing both series will work. But what will happen if the new show turns into a series?
