2013 may just be Pharrell Williams‘ year!
After we heard him bless Robin Thicke’s hit “Blurred Lines” with a few vocals, then heard about his involvement with Rihanna’s upcoming “Styled To Rock” competition, we thought for sure we wouldn’t be getting much more of him this year as he is sometimes stingy with his creative genius .
But lo and behold, Women’s Wear Daily announced today that the the singer and longtime fashion icon will be collaborating with Moncler on a line for fabulous women and men’s sunglasses. Moncler CEO Remo Ruffini had this to say of the company’s decision to work with Pharrell:
“He represents the very best of all that is contemporary, creative and international, the same characteristics that underpin the entire Moncler project and the Moncler Lunettes collection.”
Go figure! Just yesterday, our boy told the hosts of The Today Show he doesn’t really seek out the spotlight – looks like it’s coming to him anyway!
Starting at the end of next month the collaborative eyewear line will be available online, at Moncler boutiques, and in select concept stores and international opticians. Will you be checking them out? We will!
