E! News has confirmed that Lamar Odom checked himself out of rehab after just 24 hours.
Lamar was pulled over last week for driving under the speed limit in a “serpentine manor” in California. He opted to check himself into the facility after being arrested for allegedly driving under the influence where he was held on $15,000 bail after refusing to submit to chemical testing; he was later released and has had his license revoked for a year.
Sources told E! News last week that Khloe and the rest of the Kardashian klan have been urging Lamar to seek treatment. Khloe has remained tight lipped about her husband and rumored marital issues, limiting her social media usage to cryptic tweets and selfies on Instagram.
Her latest selfie shows her with friend and make-up artist Joyce Bonelli spending time together. The caption reads: “My spirit animal right huuuuuur #BigHairDontCare.”
Though Khloe has kept quiet on the subject, TMZ has reported that Lamar’s drug habit may be more serious than we had previously thought. Lamar reportedly fell deep into his drug habit after a wild summer in Hollywood; he was spending as much as $1,000 a day on drugs according to a source close to the situation.
They have also reported that the catalyst of Lamar’s drug habit was moving from the mansion he shared with his wife Khloe into Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel with a friend in May. He allegedly spent much of his time in the hotel surrounded by friends and fellow users for several months.
Sources claim Khloe knew of Lamar’s drug use, but kept it hush-hush for nearly two years. Lamar’s alleged summer drug binge was the final straw; the 29-year-old could no longer sit silently and watch her husband kill himself.
