Pusha T, RapFix Live, Full Episodes

Pusha T’s debut album My Name is My Name is two weeks away from dropping, and we’re still waiting on the video for the Chris Brown-assisted single “Sweet Serenade.”

The folks at MTV were on the set when Push shot the video for the dark but catchy single. In the footage MTV caught, Pusha can be seen rapping in front of a large bonfire. (There were no shots of Chris in the BTS footage).

On the set, Pusha talked about the song’s meaning, saying:

“We’ve been through so much, me and my friends. We’ve been around some of the worst things, the worst environments, we’ve lived through some really harsh times and we’re still here and we’re celebrating that.”

Pusha also talked about why he decided to work with Chris Brown, a fellow Virginia-fella:

“Me and Chris are just two passionate artists about our craft, and we actually give a damn.”

There you go. Watch the clip above.

My Name is My Name drops on October 8th.
