If you know they’re going to photograph you endlessly, you better come correct, right? That’s exactly what Ciara did as she stepped out for her first post-engagement appearance in Texas last night.

The R&B diva looked breathtaking in a structure of beauty from the Alon Livne Fall 2013 collection. The cutout gown featured on-trend vinyl adornments and perfectly accentuated CiCi’s famous legs that she topped off with Saint Laurent Point Toe Ankle Strap Pumps to host the Moet Rose Lounge Houston.

While Ciara was looking her stunning self with lightly tousled hair and a killer dress, the real star of the night was sitting on her ring finger. This is the first we’ve seen of the beauty since she announced her birthday engagement to rapper Future.

According to reports, the rapper/producer presented her with a 15-carat engagement ring on her 28th birthday. According to a rep: “The ring, which doubled as a special birthday gift, is a beautiful 15-carat emerald-cut diamond designed by Avianne & Co.”

Avianne & Co. also had their bit to say about the ring:

“The ring is a very intricate design which took longer to actually design than it did to produce,” a rep for the company said. “We went through several molds and concept models before landing on the proper design, which allowed for maximum shine and stability in the diamonds. This vision of blending ring styles together allowed for a very unique ring.”

Of course, this ring was a custom piece. Future helped design the sparkler with the jeweler, and it even has a name: Past Present and Future Emerald Cut Diamond Ring that, according to People Magazine, features a large emerald-cut diamond flanked by two smaller emerald-cut stones, and even more emerald-cut stones encircling an eternity-style band. The ring cost just over half a million dollars.

That’s a lot of ring talk! Now that you’re armed with all that info, take a look at Ciara showing it all off in the photos below.
