Everyday, thousands of aspiring singers and rappers spend hours spamming people on Twitter, trying to get big names to notice their music.

Maybe doing stuff like that is useful, but most of the times they’re not. So here’s something more productive that you can do.

Earlier in the week, The Recording Academy and Hyundai announced the launch of Amplifier Center Stage: A GRAMMY U Initiative. It’s a program that will allow aspiring artists to be groomed and mentored by pop superstars like rapper Kendrick Lamar, pop singer Ariana Grande and country artist Hunter Hayes.

To enter, aspiring artists will share their music using Soundcloud, that music will then vetted by a music panel. The program will run through the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards season and winners will be announced at an official GRAMMY Week event.

Here’s the best part: If you win, you’ll get a recording session and a professionally produced track with a big name producer, production of a music video with a noted producer and a performance slot on a major tour.

    You think you can bang?
