Last night, Mariah Carey stopped by Hot 97’s The Angie Martinez Show with her longtime friend and manager in tow, Jermaine Dupri.
The glammed up diva spilled the beans about her marriage to comedian/actor Nick Cannon, her new working relationship with JD, American Idol, and of course, “Dem Babies.”
When asked about the controversy surrounding her and Nicki Minaj on American Idol, the R&B diva responded:
“Honestly, I thought it was gonna be a three-person panel. They gave me a nice dangling monetary moment. It was like going to work everyday in hell with Satan,” laughed Mariah, adding, “Nah, I’m just playing. It didn’t affect me that much. I was disappointed.”
Mariah also revealed her two-year-old daughter Monroe would appear on her forthcoming album. The 43-year-old icon recently released the second single off her album titled “The Art Of Letting Go.”
Mariah’s forthcoming album, The Art Of Letting Go, is scheduled to drop February 2014. Watch Mariah’s interview with Angie up top.
