Justin Timberlake is bringing back out the competition amongst rappers as he’s recruited some big names for the remix to his hit song “TKO”.
In honor of Black Friday, the 20/20 Experience singer released the remix which features J. Cole, A$AP Rocky, and Pusha T .
It looks like this song might stay in the conversation for verses of the year next month, since people are buzzing over J. Cole’s verse.
In a clear response to Kendrick Lamar‘s verse on “Control”, Cole raps:
“Everybody and they mama gassed/ Even my mama asked what I’ma do/ Decisions, decisions/ In case this is war then I’ll load up on all ammunition/ If a ni**a want problems my trigger’s on auto/ I’ll make sure that nobody miss ‘em”
Even though it might seem like shots fired, it’s not the case as we know Kendrick and Cole are actually great friends.
A$AP and Pusha definitely came with the force as well, as Rocky talks about his love life, and Pusha tries to claim himself to the hip hop throne:
“All this album of the year talk/ Ni**as claimin’ they the best out/ I been hot since The Purple Tape and this Cuban’s poking my chest out”
