Hip-hop fans haven’t been this happy since…since…never.
Queen Latifah, who once managed Outkast, revealed that Andre 3 Stacks and Big Boi are in the beginning stages of recording a new album.
During her appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show, the hip-hop legend stated her longtime friends are actually gearing up to get back in the studio.
“They’re doing movies. They’re about to work on a new album.”
News of a forthcoming Outkast album comes only 24 hours after the once-estranged duo started up a Twitter account and announced they’d be hitting over 40 music festivals this year.
Outkast fans will be able to catch Andre 3000 and Big Boi at Coachella Music Festival in April and New York City’s Governors Ball in June. More festival dates are soon to come.
