It’s always a pleasure to sit down with Cyhi The Prynce and catch up.

The G.O.O.D Music rapper recently made his way to the No Judgment Zone and dished about everything from Kanye West, to constructive criticism, what he’s been doing since we’ve seen him last, being able to go toe-to-toe with the likes of T.I., and more.

Though he hit somewhat of a snag in the past year, Cyhi wasted no time letting us know commercial success has no bearing on his talent and future accomplishments as an artist, because he isn’t the usual ATL lyricist, specifically noting his name “does come up when it’s time to talk about who got dem BARS.”

Cyhi wants it to be known:

“I’m not just an Atlanta rapper. I am a world rapper. This is God flow. This is, like, you can take this anywhere and get your money’s worth.”

Cyhi also gets down to the nitty-gritty when it comes to not caring about conforming to his colleagues, who make a lot stripper music:

“A stripper’s not gonna A&R my project. I just can’t allow that.”

And if you’re wondering about Cyhi’s remarkable confidence, he admits Yeezy taught him to be less humble:

“He taught me to stop being humble. I’m extremely humble. Even when I used to play football and run track, I was extremely humble until you got me on the field and I was a monster. So now, I’m just going to add that to my music. I’ve been really feeling like I was one of the best.”
