A man in Maryland did the unthinkable and shot his neighbor’s dog dead, claiming it crossed over onto his property and charged at him.
Kenny Woodburn not only killed “Tank” but he also posted a picture on Facebook and in it , he’s standing over the dog’s dead body.
According to RYOT.com, Tank was only one years old, and was a gift to Woodburn’s neighbors’ four-year-old daughter.
When he posted the picture on Facebook, Woodburn claims that the dog was “charging at him”, but his statement is contradicted since the dog appeared to have been shot from behind.
Once the picture spread online and through the neighborhood, authorities were called and now a petition has been started to try and get Woodburn charged for killing Tank.
The site also reports that Tank was a popular dog with a neighborhood daycare center, so he was probably heading there and passed through Woodburn’s property on the way.
