TV Land’s hit show The Soul Man is back for another soulful season, but this time around they kicked off the season with a live episode.
Last Wednesday night, Cedric called up a few of his celebrity friends, Martin Lawrence, B.o.B and Brandy, who plays a pregnant backup singer, to help him out with the premiere.
The show was a big success and helped TV Land pull in huge numbers. The stars of the show, Cedric The Entertainer and Niecy Nash, chatted with GlobalGrind’s own Blogxilla at the live taping of the series’ third season premiere.
When asked what we could expect from the upcoming season, Nash revealed:
“Marital problems, problems with the kids, problems with the church. We go through the same problems everybody else goes through, but we handle it with a little bit of faith and a whole lot of love!”
The Soul Man airs Wednesday nights at 10:30 p.m. If you haven’t caught it yet, it’s truly a must-watch.
