UPDATE:
Good news, sneakerheads: According to Kanye’s camp, these shoes are NOT a part of his upcoming Adidas collaboration, which has a pending release date. Phew.

If this is what we can expect come Yeezy season, we’re a little…concerned.
It was only three days ago when Kanye West announced that his collaboration with Adidas would be in stores as soon as June, and this afternoon, an image of what is supposed to be the first look at his new shoes is circulating the web, and naturally, the internet is freaking the f*ck out.
Stashed Boxes posted images of one of his alleged designs earlier today, saying:
As you can see from the pictures, these are vastly different than the Yeezy 1 and 2 in terms of design (which was probably to be expected). These loafers don’t sport much detail besides for a strap on the toe box and adidas branding on the back of the shoe. Kanye recently announced that the first of collaborations should come this summer. While we don’t think this is the new “Yeezi” we imagine it’s part of the 20 shoes he designed for the brand.
Um. We hope not. And neither does Twitter.

If these are real, maybe it’s time for Kanye to go back to the drawing board…
