The weather is finally breaking from coast to coast. That means hot records and fresh beats. Speaking of fresh, peep this new joint “Pokin Out” featuring 3 hip-hop legends from Texas. That’s right – Slim Thug, Z-Ro and Paul Wall reside over this Scoop Deville produced banger. This will be featured on the upcoming Slim Thug and Z-Ro album King N The Boss.
J Cole’s Dreamville label is preparing to launch their inaugural artist Bas. The Queens MC has gotten a lot of positive publicity partly because of his affiliation to Cole but mostly because the kid is just digital dope. It’s just that simple. Check his new joint “Charles De Gaulle to JFK” and get yourself familiar with the homie Bas, if you’re already late.

On this week’s episode of “As The West Coast Burns” (with hot new tracks) we have the new IAMSU! “Show You” record featuring 50 CentSu and Fitty linked up before on “Beat It Up,” which became the club classic that introduced IAMSU! to the rest of the hip hop world. With Jay Ant on the boards and chorus, “Show You” is a banger.

Shout to my man Rich Westover at Def Jam. He may be the only surviving member of the “old” Def Jam staff that bought fans legends like Ludacris, DMX, and of course Jay Z. Rich was also the first to put me onto the Maryland MC, Logic, and I was impressed, to say the least. Check out his latest track “Now.”

Big up  to all my West Indians all over the world. Yes, it’s that time of the year again… Spring! That means new tunes and new artists from The caribbeanPopcaan made his last mark with Snoop Dogg and Mavado but now, Pop is back with a new remix for “Everything Nice” that features Mavado. Really good vibes on a really good tune. Enjoy.
