The date is getting closer and closer!

Lifetime just released more photos from the Whitney Houston Biopic. A few days ago they released photos of YaYa DaCosta as Whitney. Now we have happy couple pictures adding in Arlen Escarpata who plays the role of Bobby Brown.

Angela Basset sat down with Entertainment Weekly to talk about her directorial debut and how she went about taking on the roles of the famous couples controversial relationship.

Well, it was easy. I can’t say it was difficult. You know, I reflect it back on the moment I first saw them together. It was when I was doing Exhale. We were all on set in the living room together and [Bobby] came to visit. I, like everyone else, had some preconceived idea … people just looked at a photograph or picture of them together and thought, “They’re incongruous.” “They don’t go together.” “Why is she with him?”

DaCosta and Escarpata look great right? Can’t wait for the release of the biopic.

Gavin Rossdale just made a big move joining his wife Gwen Stefani and team on ‘The Voice‘.

This will be the first couple to take on the judges role on the Voice (or any other competition show for that matter) and it’s too stinking cute.

Looks like baby Apollo will be eating good. Congrats to you these two.

Things aren’t looking too bright for Lamar Odom. Word on the street is he just got dropped from the New York Knicks for not meeting the the team’s necessary requirements.

Knicks’ President Phil Jackson states:

“Unfortunately, Lamar was unable to uphold the standards to return as an NBA player… We found it necessary to free up the roster spot.”

Ouch! We hope everything gets better with that Lamar.

Pam Oliver, NFL sideline reporter, says sayonara to Fox Sports. She has been a part of the number 1 team at Fox Sports for over 20 years and confirmed the news to Sports Illustrated on Sunday (July 13), revealing that it was initially painful for her to do so.

“To go from the lead crew to no crew was a little shocking,” Oliver, 53, told SI. “I said I wanted to do a 20th year [on the sidelines]. I expressed to them that I was not done and had something to offer. Again, I think it was predetermined coming in. Not at that meeting, but two years ago it was determined that no matter what I did or did not do, a change would be made for this year.”

Her replacement will be Erin Andrews.
