Kendrick Lamar loves himself.
The Compton rapper performed his new single “i” for the very first time at Toronto’s youth empowerment conference We Day.
Despite fans and critics’ indifference towards the song, Kendrick’s performance of “i” seemed to get the Toronto crowd riled up in a positive way. Just yesterday, Flying Lotus and Kendrick also released the visual for their song “Never Catch Me.”
Kendrick is reportedly putting the finishing touches on his album, which he hopes to drop before the year is out.
