Limited fashion and art publication Visionaire 64 has joined forces with conceptual artist John Baldessari and a handful of celebrities for its latest issue; which marries high art and the infamous selfie.
The issue features black and white portraits with color interventions by Baldessari. Lupita Nyong’o, Miley Cyrus, Gisele Bundchen, and James Franco are just a few of the stars who lend their famous faces to the creations.
According to Visionaire co-editor Cecilia Dean, the celebrities were involved with the process as well:
“These personalities chose how they wanted to present themselves, and then allowed John Baldessari to play with their vision,” she said.
The publication is divided into three editions – Red, Blue, and Green – and can also be converted into a display via a built-in fold-out stand.
