Queen Latifah is so lovable, but that doesn’t seem to be enough to keep her talk show on the air.

According to TMZ, the rapper and actress was recently informed, along with her staff, that The Queen Latifah Show would not continue on to its third season.

Queen wrote in a note on her Facebook:

Dear Dana,

Just a little note to say Thank You…

Thank you for your strong work ethic and great effort in getting The Queen Latifah Show off the ground and running.

Your dedication and sacrifice was crucial to the entire team, and in the face of intense challenges, you displayed “True Grit”!

Your Family, Partners, Staff and Crew showed up with you every step of the way. Be very proud of that! Not everyone can say the same.

You can also say you have been a blessing to and been blessed by amazing guests and incredible audiences for this show.

We truly changed people’s lives for the better.

So… STAY POSITIVE, STAY STRONG, and most importantly, STAY OPEN… There is so much more God has in store!

Lovingly, You!

P.S. This letter is for me, my staff, my crew, and everyone who was by my side for this incredible journey. The most important thing in life is that you wake up every single day and take chances. No matter what the outcome…believe in yourself and continue to fly.

That definitely sucks.

Despite what happened on The Late Show With David Letterman, Jennifer Lawrence really can sing!

The Oscar-winning actress’ voice is featured on a new track from the Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 movie soundtrack. The song is called “The Hanging Tree,” which is originally performed by The Lumineers.

Jennifer Lawrence’s father taught her the song, with director Francis Lawrence revealing to AOL Build:

“Jen was not happy she had to sing it all day long. She cried a little bit in the morning.

Listen to J. Law’s singing skills above!

Katy Perry is not a happy camper.

The “Wide Awake” singer recently took to her Twitter to release a statement speaking out against Australian paparazzi, as well as celebrities who decide to make deals with them. The rant occurred after K.P. was bothered by photographers while trying to relax at the beach.

She wrote:

“Australian PRESS: you should be ashamed of your paparazzi & tabloid culture. Your paparazzi have no respect, no integrity, no character. NO HUMANITY. I was stalked by many grown men today as I tried to take a quiet walk to the beach. These men would not stop as I pleaded over & over to let me have my space,”

“Many other people stopped to try to help out but the paps continued to laugh at me & hold their barrels up & shoot,” Katy continued. “They told me to make a ‘deal’ with them. Give them a bathing suit shot and they would leave me be. This is PERVERTED & disgusting behavior that should NEVER be tolerated, especially by people who do NOT want this. I will NEVER make a deal with paparazzi and I will not befriend anyone who perpetuates this kind of behavior.”

Welp, there’s that.

If you’re trying to get your show picked up by a network, you might want to turn to Netflix for some support.

Tina Fey‘s new comedy show “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” was set to premiere on NBC, but she decided to go with Netflix instead, signing on for an automatic two-season deal with the online streaming site.

According to The Huffington Post, NBC totally supports the deal:

“When the opportunity arose for Tina Fey and Robert Carlock to premiere their new show on Netflix with a two-season commitment, we decided this was the best possible scenario to launch this captivating new series.”

“The very construct of – its offbeat premise, hilarious and rich characters and serialized storytelling – make it a perfect Netflix comedy series.”

We can’t wait watch Tina work it!
