New Orleans artists are holding each other down heavy these days.
Just hours after August Alsina dropped his “Why I Do It” record with Lil Wayne, fellow New Orleans native Curren$y releases his new single “Bottom of the Bottle” with Weezy and Young Aug.
“Back in it, it been a minute, here she go with all that where beenin’/ I been at it, tryna get it, gotta admit it, I look good with it,” raps Curren$y.
Just a day before the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Lil Wayne will host his inaugural Lil’ Weezyana Festival in New Orleans. Curren$y’s Canal Street Confidential album is slated to hit the ‘net on November 6.
