In the midst of yet another visionary stream of consciousness yesterday, Kanye West revealed that he apologized to Michael Jordan. His tweet read: “I’m sorry Michael Jordan. I love and respect you. My beef was with Mark Parker. I respect you so much!”

Although ‘Ye didn’t share the reason behind his remorse, it appears to all boil down to “Facts.” In the song, which Kanye released on New Year’s Eve, he takes shots at Nike and even Jordan Brand.

However, Kanye insists his only problem was with Nike CEO, Mark Parker.

Still, it appears MJ will not be present at tomorrow’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show.

A well-known sneaker shop in Akron, Ohio was robbed this past weekend. Unfortunately, after cutting through the roof of Villa, the burglars reportedly made off with a serious amount of kicks. The robbery began around 4:30am on Saturday and by the time it was over, 20 pairs of Air Jordans had been stolen.

Says ComplexWe hate to see this happen to anyone, but especially a store like Villa, which is known for giving back to the community more than most.

Check out the initial report here.

Imagine being personally gifted with a pair of sneakers from Kobe Bryant while in high school. For LeBron James, this was a reality. In a new interview with ESPN, LeBron revealed that he received the kicks after meeting Kobe at the All-Star game in 2002.

“I think I was playing in a tournament in Teaneck, New Jersey, and they were playing in the [2002] All-Star game in Philly,” James remembers. “And I had an opportunity to go meet him, and he gave me a pair of his shoes, and I actually wore them in a game against Oak Hill, against Melo.”

Sole Collector reports the sneaker was the “USA” adidas Kobe 2, pictured above.
