Shmurda was asked about his supposed beef with 50 Cent, saying, “50’s cool. I don’t do the rap beef. Everybody that know Bobby know I don’t do the rap beef. I don’t got time for all that. First of all, I’m in jail. How I’ma beef with someone when I’m in jail? I don’t even do the rap beef. That’s not my character. 50’s cool. So anybody who knows me knows I don’t do that rap beef shit. 50 ain’t never disrespect me.”
In jail for weapons and drug charges, one of the most stressful things Bobby’s been dealing with is his $2 million bail.
“They ain’t trying to give me the deal because they know if I come home, I’ma beat this, so right now, they trying to hold me in here as long as possible,” Bobby said. “So, they’re trying to hold me in for like three or four years. And then try to give me time served or something but they don’t got nothing on me. I’m not even supposed to still be here. I got several lawyers maintaining my case that’s saying that the bail is supposed to be dropped and these charges are supposed to be dropped. The bail is not even supposed to be high due to the Emory Law Book. But they violating my constitutional rights. They violating my civil rights that they are just flushing it down the toilet for they own political reasons.”
Shmurda also spoke on pharma bro Martin Shkreli (who has been charged with securities fraud) wanting to bail him out, mentioning, “I didn’t get to get in contact with him. I wish I could. I heard what happened to him. That was crazy, the whole situation is crazy. I think they did that shit for no reason, really. Because all this time he was out and now he was talking about us and all of a sudden he got locked. That shit is crazy. I hope he works it all out and I hope he beats his case.”
