The 2016 BET Awards brought out all the hot couples…even the previously private pairs.
Rumors have been swirling for weeks that Birdman and Toni Braxton were an item, but Sunday night’s award show proved they’re definitely more than just friends. Sources say the couple was inseparable and looked blissful as they strolled together backstage, adding that they even posed for photos before making their way out of the Microsoft Theater in L.A. hand-in-hand.
Although neither of the stars have confirmed their romance, Toni Braxton’s rep revealed her client and Birdman are indeed dating. Birdman, on the other hand, tried to play it cool about the relationship, saying, “We’re just chillin.”
Toni’s mother Evelyn unintentionally revealed that her daughter is in a relationship with the Cash Money head earlier this week during a radio interview. She said that Birdman has received her stamp of approval if they are indeed a couple, saying, “I think he is a nice man. I don’t care what others say about him. He is a nice man. He is full of respect.”
At least we know who does put ‘respeck’ on Birdman’s name.
