Jay-Z and Beyonce are done with award shows, at least for this awards season, as the power couple skipped out on the Oscars this past weekend.

Beyonce, who’s been at a number of Academy Awards shows in the past didn’t even watch this year’s show. Instead her and Hov spent the evening kicking it with some of the cool people they know, including Sarah Jessica Parker.

The New York Post reports:
The music power couple joined the Sex and the City star and five others for a long meal at Freemans on the Lower East Side. “They completely blew off the Oscars,” said a source, adding, “They didn’t even have it on a TV screen. They were there until well after 1 a.m. with their friends, laughing and eating.”
Hov and Bey sould consider themselves lucky they missed the Oscars this year. Snoozefest! They kicked it with Carrie Bradshaw and Ferris Bueller and it doesn’t get much better than that.
