If anyone is exploring their options and switching things up in the New Year, it's definitely Miley Cyrus!

The 20-year-old former Disney superstar has been spending time with her family for the holidays, and she's even added to it during the festivities.

Miley showed off her new little puppy, who is a rescue dog named Bean, and they couldn't look any cuter together.

She looked happier than ever to be with her little pup, a chihuahua mix, and tweeted her excitement:

There's a lot of love for Bean, since Miley recently lost her other dog Lila, as well as from Miley's fiance Liam Hemsworth, who we're sure will show little Bean plenty of affection!

Miley is also broadening her horizons when it comes to music.

Having already been in the studio with Pharrell and Tyler, the Creator a couple of months ago, she reached out to Tiffany Foxx and the legendary rapper Lil' Kim to get to work.

She tweeted:

It seems like the upcoming music we hear from Miley will be full of hip-hop flavor in our ears!
