As news of the divorce is still spreading, reports over what could have lead the 36-year-old Arthur actor to file for divorce begin to surface.
The British comic’s filing comes on the heels of a massive spat with Katy, 27, over the Christmas holiday, sparked over a difference in opinion as to how the duo should spend their vacation.
After planning to whisk her family via private jet to Brand’s London hometown for the holidays, Perry changed course, opting to fly to Hawaii with friends.
“She was like, ‘F–k you. I’m going to do my own thing.’ Russell replied, ‘Fine, f–k you too,'” Us Weekly Reports.
This explains why the couple were 7000 miles apart and not wearing their wedding rings over the holidays.

The divorce is a complete change of what Russell said on Ellen when he claimed, “I’m really happily married … I’m married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge. I’m still alive.”
