Russell Brand appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this morning and opened up about his feelings for ex-wife Katy Perry.
Brand insisted that he had no regrets in marrying the hit singer back in 2010 and still loves Katy “as a human being.”

He continued on to say:
“Sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything. I was very happy to be married with her. She’s such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her.”
Despite these extremely kind words, Brand recently decided to unfollow his ex on Twitter.
Back in December, Brand appeared on the same show and shot down rumors that he and Perry would be splitting, only to file for divorce 28 days later.
Although Katy is now seeing Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, we are taking Russell’s word that the two former lovers still get along.
