My Bad! Steven Tyler Apologizes To Nicki Minaj (DETAILS)

Steven Tyler is fighting back against Nicki Minaj's racist claims.

The legendary rocker made headlines after his remarks about Nicki's American Idol judging skills - remarks that rubbed the Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up rapper the wrong way.

Tyler, who was an AI judge himself the past two years, said that if Bob Dylan was in front of the American Idol judges, "Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield!"

Nicki didn't like those comments, and quickly replied: 

“You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f*ck yourself and worry about yourself babe.”

Upset that his words were misunderstood, Steven Tyler apologized, but defended himself:

“I apologize if it was taken wrong, Nicki,” the rocker is quoted as saying. ”But I am the farthest from [being a racist],” he said. “I am the last thing on this planet as far as being a racist. I don’t know where she got that out of me saying I’m not sure how she would’ve judged Bob Dylan.”

Tyler added, “Maybe I spoke out of turn… But a racist I’m not, Nicki.”

As mama always said, if you don't have anything nice to say, then say don't say anything at all!
