French fashion house Lanvin has announced that they will introduce a childrenswear line to their Summer 2011 collection. Joining a host of other designers who have started children’s collections, Lanvin is now giving mothers the opportunity to spend the same amount of money on their toddlers, as they spend on themselves!

With Mother’s Day right around the corner, most people are thinking about getting things for their Moms but mothers, being the nurturers that they are, think about their kids nonstop, so why not make sure your kid looks just as fashion forward as you do when leaving the house.

For those who can afford it, Lanvin is not the only brand who has introduced childrenswear lines this year. Fendi, Gucci and Stella McCartney have all also tapped into the market of getting kids fly.

Here’s a look into some brands who have begun to realize that kids have to look good on the playground too.
