While the world mourns the death of Randy Savage, one of wrestling’s most iconic figures, we thought we’d take a look back at the some of action figures the Macho Man left in his wake.
Whether you were a wrestling fan or not, there was no denying the showmanship and bravado of Savage. Savage was known for his unique take on pink trunks and his early action figures were the most sought after because of their innovation in design and high collectibility.
In 2010, after many years of agonizing delay, fans and Savage finally got the acknowledgement and recognition he deserved when his new Mattel action figure, part of the WWE’s ‘Defining Moments’ Collection, was announced at the San Diego Comic Con.
