There's Somethin 'Bout Kreay that people just don't want to know, which is why her debut album bombed on the music charts.
Oakland rapper Kreayshawn became an internet sensation when her "Gucci Gucci" song went viral on YouTube. Over a year later, Kreayshawn finally released her debut album, Somethin 'Bout Kreay, which features successful artists like 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi and Diplo.
Somethin 'Bout Kreay debuted at the number 104 spot and currently rests at number 112 since its release last Tuesday.
It's been rumored the album took a whopping $750,000 to produce, and unfortunately, the album only moved 3,900 copies.
Columbia Records is definitely pissed they didn't get any return on their investment, but oh well, maybe labels will think twice before investing in gimmick artists like Kreayshawn.
