Beyonce takes to her website once again to pen a heartfelt letter.
This time, she sends her thoughts and prayers out to yet another lost music icon: Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees.

Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams once covered the Bee Gee’s song “Emotions” for their 2011 Destiny’s Child album Survivor.
In the letter, Beyonce said:
THE BEE GEES WERE AN EARLY INSPIRATION FOR ME, KELLY AND MICHELLE. WE LOVED THEIR SONGWRITING AND BEAUTIFUL HARMONIES. RECORDING THEIR CLASSIC SONG, “EMOTION,” WAS A SPECIAL TIME FOR DESTINY’S CHILD. SADLY WE LOST ROBIN GIBB THIS WEEK. MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIS BROTHER BARRY AND THE REST OF HIS FAMILY. – LOVE, B
Robin Gibb lost his battle with cancer on May 20th, 2012. He was 62 years old.
