When David Banner speaks, you might wanna listen up!
Grammy-award winning rapper David Banner was honored as a guest speaker of Harvard University’s “The L.A. Riots: Twenty Years Later” conference.

The southern rapper discussed current race relations, Trayvon Martin and music – specifically hip-hop’s – role and influence amongst it all.
Banner shared his thoughts on the event with RollingOut.com:
“I’m glad that hip-hop has given me an opportunity to speak on behalf of our generation. It’s something I take seriously. There are so many aspects of urban life that must be discussed.”
