The profile touches on a number of things, including his upbringing, details about his forthcoming debut album, Channel Orange, and his love life, sans the information about his male lover (the piece was done before any of this news ever came to light.)
One of the more interesting aspects of the profile was when Ocean revealed that he had recorded a song for Nas’ upcoming album, Life is Good, which drops on the same day as Channel Orange, July 17.

The track was called “No Such Thing as White Jesus,” and unfortunately it will never be released because of some kind of “technological mishap.”
We will never hear the song, so the singer decided to croon some of the track’s lyrics during the interview:
“Whatever you do, young king, don’t wind up dead

Put a crown on your head and remove the chains
’Cause even diamond chains are for slaves,
Don’t set foot in no penitentiary
And don’t taste the poison

Like most of Frank’s music, the lyrics are incredibly profound.
