Last night, a select few amount of people got the honor of hearing a new song from J. Cole while at Footaction’s “Own The Stage” event in Hollywood.

The 27-year-old rapper rocked the stage to some new beats and unrehearsed verses, before debuting his new song “Crooked Smile”.

J. Cole even admitted that he didn’t do so well on the new verses:

“I’ve never performed that before. I fu**ed up that verse already. I’m not that embarrassed ’cause there’s only 30 of us, so it’s cool.”

Fortunately, he redeemed himself quickly while performing his song about his own teeth, ‘Crooked Smile’, and admitted to the crowd:

“I’ve never had braces. I don’t have the picture-perfect smile. I don’t have a Colgate smile. My shit is fu**ed up.”

Supposedly, fans and even his own mother have been wondering why he hasn’t fixed his teeth yet now that he’s famous and has the money for it.

He told the crowd:

“I had the number one album in the country when my shit was fu**ed up,” he said. “Why do I really need to get that sh*t fixed?”

Lastly, J. Cole also admitted that his second album is finished, but he is just waiting on Kendrick Lamar‘s debut to release so he can have his moment first.

What a nice guy. He said to the crowd:

“As soon as he drops and f**s the world up, I’m about to come and f**k the world up.”

We can’t wait for J. Cole’s new album! It should be another smash.
