Yesterday, we posted about Jay Z and Justin Timberlake’s opening night show of their Legends of the Summer Tour. There was an interesting development that we missed, however:

The two artists shouted out Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old shot and killed by George Zimmerman, who was just found not guilty of murder.

The two ended their opening night concert by performing “Forever Young,” one of the tracks off Jay’s Blueprint 3 album.

During the performance, Jay shouted out “This is for Mr. Trayvon Martin,” while Justin Timberlake sung the hook for the track, which was originally sung by Mr. Hudson.

It was a damn powerful moment, and you can watch it above.
