Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar is gearing up to start pushing his next single, "Poetic Justice," and with new singles come new videos.

The good kid, m.A.A.d city rapper is currently working out the details for the "Poetic Justice" video, but wants iconic singer, Janet Jackson to appear in the music video.

"Poetic Justice" is a play off the 1993 John Singleton-directed movie Poetic Justice, starring Janet Jackson and the late great Tupac Shakur

NEW MUSIC: Kendrick Lamar & Lady Gaga "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe"

Kendrick's "Poetic Justice" also samples Janet's classic song "Anytime Anyplace."

In a recent interview with MTV, Kendrick Lamar made a personal plea to Janet, stating:

"Janet, c'mon, Janet. No paperwork with the managers, contact the managers. This is artist to artist. This is a young boy who looked up to you for years. Please. It would only be right."

Janet Jackson and Kendrick Lamar together in one room would be amazing. We hope Kendrick and Janet can make it happen for the fans.
