Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne is not only adamant about collecting real talent, he’s also adamant about collecting viles of blood – from each of the artists slated to make an appearance on his band’s next release The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends.
Coyne explained:
“What I’m going to try to do — and I’m collecting stuff for it as we speak — is I’m going to try to make a record that has every person’s blood in the record. I’m going to try to take that same concept and put little bits of everybody’s blood in the middle of this record. Like a glass specimen thing.”

Only five or six blood discs will be made. If successful, you can have your very own specimen CD with Ke$ha, Chris Martin and Erykah Badu.
