A lot of people have been critical towards Lil Wayne, but it turns out the biggest critic just might be himself.

During an interview with MTV, the same one where he said he doesn’t like New York, Wayne also talked about the homie 2 Chainz

DETAILS: SAY WHAT?! New York Senator Wants Lil Wayne To Apologize To The Big Apple!

If you remember, Lil Wayne was supposed to release his Dedication 3 mixtape last week, but he held it because 2 Chainz’s album, Based on a T.R.U. Story, was releasing that same week.

LIST: ROTTEN APPLE! The History Of Lil Wayne’s Beef With New York

When asked about Chainz and his LP, Wayne didn’t realize that was he going to be on the album’s opening cut, “Yuck!” Tunechi seemed rather displeased with his verse (which was more like a hook, really):

“I’m very upset about that just to let everybody know: He put me on that, I sound wack as hell on there. He did not tell me that was gonna be the first song on his album…Please don’t judge me from that — my bar game is way higher than that, man.”

Now, it should be noted, that Wayne was saying this while laughing, so he didn’t take too much offense.

In fact, when he found out that 2 Chainz, or Tity Boi, as he liked to call him, had the number one album in the country this week, Wayne seemed generally happy for dude, saying:

“I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart, dawg.”

It’s a cool moment by the homie Wayne.

And, for the record, we thought Wayne sounded pretty darn good on “Yuck!”
