Singer/songwriter Mayer Hawthorne teams up with UK’s Jessie Ware on his funkadelic soul ballad “Her Favorite Song.”
The “retro soul” singer and Jessie Ware duet on the soulful feel-good track.
“For when she gets home, she puts her headphones on/she plays her favorite song/ when the music’s on, she can do no wrong/ she feels safe and calm,” sings Mayer.
Over the past few months, Jessie Ware has been in the U.S. touring and promoting her new album, which she released in the States on April 16.
Her new single “Wildest Moments,” featuring Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky, is doing extremely well on the pop charts too.
Mayer’s forthcoming album Where Does This Door Go drops July 16.
