Mystikal: "Going Back To Jail Is A Gift & A Curse" (VIDEO)

Our boy Mystikal has been gone for a minute, but he was back at it ... at least for a little while. 

Prior to checking into a Louisiana jail Monday morning where he's expected to serve out the remainder of a 90-day sentence for domestic abuse, Mystikal stopped by the GlobalGrind offices for a sit-down full of optimism. 

STORY: Mystikal Goes Back To Jail!

He wasn't the braid-shaking, verse-screaming rapper that once dominated airwaves with tracks like "Shake Dat Ass." Instead, the new and improved Mystikal, fresh off a 6-year stint in the pen, was sporting a new, clean cut, but his panache was not void of the in-your-face theatrics that he brought to us in his "Danger" days. 

The new YMCMB member chopped it up with GlobalGrind, talking about everything from his time spent as a No Limit Soldier living up Master P's dreams, and how the next 81 days that he has to spend in the pen is both a gift and a curse. 

NEW MUSIC: Mystikal "Bullsh*t"

The hardcore rapper even admitted to having a softer side, claiming that his missing element of romance in his life distracted from his need to come home and give 100 perfect to his music, landing him in a domestic dispute.
