It’s been a long time coming, but Nicki Minaj is finally beginning to patch up her tarnished relationship with Hot 97.

At Summer Jam 2012, Nicki Minaj made headlines when she backed out of her performance at the annual hip-hop concert after hearing Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg unflattering comments about her pop crossover “Starships.”

Nicki’s decision to pull out of the concert only hours before she was set to hit the stage caused a firestorm between Lil Wayne’s YMCMB label and the legendary station.

Almost a year later, Nicki stopped by Hot 97 to patch things up and to call a truce with Peter Rosenberg.

“It’s cool. It’s water under the bridge…It was so long ago, I really can’t care.”

Nicki went on to say that she regrets letting down her Barbz by backing out of the show last minute.

“In hindsight I should have just done the show. I wish I would have come out. I apologize [to the fans] for not doing the show.”
