#SXSW 2012: Kanye West, Fiona Apple, Santigold, 2 Chainz, & Big Sean Take Over Austin (VIDEOS)

Now that SXSW is in full swing, every major music artist has gone down south to showcase their talents for the industry's trendsetters.

Austin, Texas was full of surprises last night. Kanye West appeared virtually out of nowhere during Big Sean's showcase at SOB's 30th Anniversary show. 

When Kanye appeared on stage, the packed venue erupted with sheer excitement. Joined by Big Sean and 2 Chainz, Kanye performed "Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay" with his G.O.O.D. music protege Big Sean. 

SOB's show wasn't the only thing popping in Austin. Across town, the FADER FORT was packed and star-studded.

Santigold and 2 Chainz, among many other celebs hit the stage in an attempt to bring down the FORT most people know as the FADER. 

Santigold performed her second single "Disparate Youth" from her forthcoming album Master Of My Make Believe, while 2 Chainz performed his hood classic "Spend It."
