It looks like Jeezy the snowman will be bringing an avalanche to Atlantic Records!
Late last night, the news broke that Young Jeezy is the new Senior Vice President of A&R for Atlantic Records. DJ Greg Street of V103 radio station broke the news that Young Jeezy landed the coveted position.
The news was then confirmed by Young Jeezy's friend and production coordinator, DJ Folk, who tweeted:
Young Jeezy joins the list of rappers who have taken executive positions at their labels.
Jay-Z was once the president of Def Jam, Jim Jones served as VP of Urban Music at Koch Records, and The-Dream was also the president of Island Def Jam at one time.
Now, Young Jeezy is a legit corporate thug!
