Glenn Beck, the controversial Fox News host, was attacked in New York City’s Bryant Park the other night as he, his wife and his daughter sat down on their American blanket and began to watch a screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps.
Things took an ugly turn when Beck was accosted by someone who yelled, “We don’t like conservatives here.”
Beck explained the entire ordeal on his radio show, bringing the commentator to tears.

According to Beck, “I swear to you I think, if I had suggested, and I almost did, ‘Wow, does anybody have a rope? Because there’s tree here. You could just lynch me.’ And I think there would have been a couple in the crowd that would have.” Thankfully, everything turned out safely for Beck and his family.
