Maine Mosque:

Hours after President Obama announced the death of Osama bin Laden, a Portland, Maine mosque was vandalized and sprayed with graffiti the following morning.

The mosque was tagged with phrases such as, “Osama today, Islam tomorrow,” “Long Live the West” and “Go Home” and “Free Cyprus” ― an apparent reference to the occupation of northern Cyprus by Turkey, a Muslim country.

Allahu Akbar outburst:

Rageit Almurisi, 28, was wrestled to the ground by crew members and passengers on the cabin floor of a American Airlines flight, after he began pounding on the cockpit of a plane approaching San Francisco, according to the Daily Mail.

Almurisi was yelling “Allahu Akbar” as he brushed past a flight attendant about 10 minutes before the American Airlines Flight from Chicago was due to land on Sunday night. Police said passengers helped a male attendant get Almurisi to the ground and he was put in plastic handcuffs.
