Angus Pascal, an FDNY medical technician, was honored in 2007 for saving a wounded patient’s life. After only five years of being an EMT, Pascal was considered respected and highly decorated.

That is until authorities realized Pascal had been abusing his power.
Pascal, 35, is being charged with sexually assaulting five women, the youngest of which were 11-years-old and 14-years-old. With the same power he once used to save lives, Pascal used the same tools to attack his victims between 2001 and 2010.
He allegedly used his FDNY key to shut down elevators and trap young girls inside in order to rape them. On Wednesday, Pascal faced the first of his five victims.
The Brooklyn woman, noticeably nervous during her testimony, told the court how Pascal asked to leave a package for her upstairs neighbors, then trapped her.
He then sneaked inside and raped her, she said.
“I was scared,” she recalled. “I was trying not to think about what was happening.”
When it was over and Pascall was gone, she said, “I felt slimy.”
The prosecuting attorney opened the trial by telling the court about the other victims who would testify.
They include a woman who was allegedly forced to perform oral sex on Pascall inside an elevator in May 2009; a teenager who escaped another attack in October of that year; the 11-year-old who was also brutally raped in an elevator in July 2010; and a 20-year-old who was raped in a car a few days later.

Pascal’s DNA has been linked to all of the attacks.
