If you need a more convincing case for President Obama to get a second term, then you need to watch The Road We’ve Traveled, a 17-minute documentary directed by Academy Award winning filmmaker Davis Guggenheim.

STORY: Wait, What! Barack Did A Movie With Tom Hanks?

The first half of the film focuses on five of President Obama’s key victories in moving America forward, while giving an inside look at some of the tough calls he made to get our country back on track.

The film features interviews from President Bill Clinton, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and former senior advisor to the President, David Axelrod, Vice President Joe Biden and many others.

The film chronicles Obama’s struggles in his first four years in office and the decisions he had to make that could have ended his presidency if he was wrong.

The five key victories focused upon in the video are as follows: the American Recovery Act, saving the auto industry, passing the health care bill, bringing the troops home from Iraq after a nine year war and the icing on the cake: the mission to kill al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

It’s a powerful film that everyone should see. It doesn’t focus on the political carnival of the Tea Party, the birthers and citizenship nonsense that we are subjected to on a daily basis.

The film is about America and how Obama’s mantra of Hope and Change in 2008 has come to fruition.

The film is about the basic good things that needed to be done in order for America to have a brighter future, making things right on issues we’ve been practicing wrong for so long.

Repealing Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, Fair Pay Act, Wall Street Reform; these are things we had to get right, because if we didn’t, we would have been fallen further down the rabbit hole with no end in sight.

It’s a brilliant film that everyone needs to see.
