A USA TODAY/Gallup Poll revealed that President Obama has the female vote locked up, as Romney trails behind when it comes to the fairer sex.
The biggest change is that women under 50 are now riding with Barack as opposed to Romney.

In mid-February, just under half of those voters supported Obama, today; more than six in 10 do while Romney’s support among them has dropped by 14 points, to 30 percent. The president leads him 2-1 in this group. The President leads Romney among women 51-42 percent, as he should.

In mid-February as Rick Santorum, Rush Limbaugh and the rest of the Republican party waged war against women in an effort to restrict abortion and contraceptives, Romney didn’t help when he said if they (women) want greater access to birth control, they should vote for President Obama.
And it looks like they will.
If Mitt Romney has any chance of shoring up a victory in November, he needs to show women that he’s on their side and will protect their interests. But most likely he won’t, as President Obama has showed time and time again that women’s rights are a top priority.
Obama has fought for equal pay for women, fought to provide greater access to contraception, and of course, he has a wife and two daughters and their futures depend on what he legislates today.
