Seven teens are being questioned after a video surfaced on YouTube showing them brutally beating a 17-year-old boy in a Bridgeport, Illinois alley.

In the video you can see the teens ganging up on the helpless boy as he begs them to stop. One teen taunts the boy, yelling that he had “f**ked up.”
The attack lasted for several minutes on Sunday afternoon; you can see the boy covering his face as the other youths converge on him, kicking and punching his head, legs and back.
“Hold on,” the teen says as he pulls himself to his feet and tries to talk them into stopping.
His pleas went unheard as one of the attackers, wearing gray sweats, asks: “Do you (expletive) understand?”
He then punches the boy in the face and knocks him to the ground, then kicks him in the face, sending the boy sprawling on the snow-covered ground.
The boy was taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center and was treated for lacerations to his lip, bruises and abrasions.
What could have prompted these teens to display such deplorable behavior?
